| How the Park is Used |
| This urban park is close
to the city center, and so about 80% of the people who use it come from within
the city. With the introduction of new facilities to the park, the trend is for
more visitors coming from greater distances. Surveys show that the main methods of transport to the park are private cars and rail each accounting for 40% of the total. Of the total number of visitors who come to use the park, about 45% come with their families and 23% come with friends, but school groups and the like also account for a large number, so people can enjoy themselves time and again in the spaciousness of this special park here in the city. Because of its spaciousness and the convenience of its location the park is suitable for a variety of events, and it is hoped that it may be used for new types of open air events such as new sporting activities and outdoor barbecues. |
