| B zone |

There
is a zone which is a linking path leading you from the Tachikawa lain fate
right inside the park. There is a waterway (canal) along which are various bronze
monuments and small and large fountains. If you pass along the line of ginkgo
trees decorating both sides of the water feature, you come to the Exhibitions
Plaza. This is an eminently suitable location for holding exhibitions of outdoor
sculptures and horticultural shows. |

A stream which gives a feeling of quiet and rest along its 200 meters. There are 5 large and small fountains, and the beautiful woven pattern of paving stones around the perimeter of the park completes the fine view. |

The Exhibitions Plaza which is a gentle rise covered with grass gives a truly delightful impression to all who visit there. One of the main attractions of this plaza is that many events can be held here, for example outdoor sculpture exhibitions, horticultural shows, rural craft exhibitions and so on. Finally it commands a view of the imposing mountains towering in the distance. It is justly an amazing area. Helicopters - Helicopters leave and arrive at the nearby Tachikawa air port. If you stand next to some people who are looking up at the machines and exchanging messages with seemingly coded words like 'OH-6J' and 'HU-IH', they are probably just helicopter maniacs! |

If you should take a break, from strolling around the park, at the lodge-style restaurant with the big roof in the Exhibitions Plaza you will be pleased to see lots of happy faces in the dining area. |
